Peru San Ignacio Ihuamaca: 4/19/2025

Touted as a bean suitable for darker roasts, these are a mix of varieties from a small scale producer in Ihuamaca, collecting beans from local small farms, roughly 2 hectares.

The coffee is farm-2-gate, and although not certified organic, it does not mean that the growers used chemicals. It is often the case that small farms practice organic techniques but can’t afford the cost of organic certification. However this also means they can’t afford chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
